Highlights
The Journal of Change lets us look back and reflect on the year that was – to remember the milestones and achievements that UNICEF has reached in the hope of bettering the life of every child in Timor-Leste.
During 2019, there were many highlights – villages had access to water for the very first time, preschool children had a better start to their primary education, we celebrated 30 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the iconic Cristo Rei monument was illuminated in blue – for the first time ever – to mark World Children’s Day.
