Highlights

A study on COVID-19 impact on vulnerable families: families with children with disabilities aimed to explore and analyse the economic and social impact of COVID-19 on families with children with disabilities’ daily life and the challenges that they have faced. The findings showed their needs to access assistance and benefit related to health, access to good nutrition, transportation, and family rehabilitation and return to normal situation. This study also provided short-term and long-term policy recommendations to support and protect families with children with disabilities. 

The COVID-19 Impact on Vulnerable Families: Families with children with disabilities was supported by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) by UNICEF Thailand, in partnership with Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI).
