Thanks to a generous contribution from the Department for International Development (DFID), UNICEF is distributing summer clothes at Al-Hol camp in northeastern Syria, aiming to reach around 37,000 children aged 6 months to 14 years.

After years of conflict, displacement and depletion of financial resources, families are left unable to provide their children’s basic needs, including for seasonal clothes. The contribution from UNICEF aims to ease the financial burden on families while providing children with means to cope with the heat of the desert.

Every clothing kits contains a light outfit, shoes, socks, under- garments and a cap.
