Explore this photo-reportage by award-winning photographer Jan Grarup marking 60 years of UNICEF’s global supply and logistics operations in Denmark.

2022 marks sixty years of UNICEF Global Supply and Logistics Operations in Denmark serving the world’s children. Through natural disasters, conflicts and lockdowns, these massive operations have continued uninterrupted from the world’s largest humanitarian warehouse, the UNICEF Supply and Logistics Hub in Copenhagen. Destination? For every child.
Award-winning photographer Jan Grarup took on the challenge of telling the story of how UNICEF supplies change the lives of children and families in some of the world’s toughest places. In 2021 and 2022, he travelled to three different countries on three different continents – Haiti, Lebanon and Uganda – to document the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children.

"UNICEF ensures aid gets through, which means that it's an organization that you can believe in. It's an organization that was put on Earth to actually help and people realize that."

"I have to emphasize: I’ve been working with UNICEF for many years, but I had never understood the magnitude of these operations."
