In 2015, UNICEF established the Vaccine Procurement Practitioners Network (VPPN) Online as a community and resource for senior professionals and technical experts supporting national immunization programmes in middle income countries.  Limited membership of the community is designed to encourage an open exchange amongst those procurement practitioners buying vaccines on behalf of their respective countries to improve child health outcomes. Please visit VPPN Online at: http://www.vppnetwork.org/ to join.

Please go to VPPN Online for insight into the Vaccine Procurement Practitioners Exchange Forum hosted by UNICEF Supply Division.  Participants meet discuss and resolve practical and pressing issues that middle income countries face, for example:

  • Establishing methodologies to conduct market assessments.
  • Broadening approaches to understand the needs of industry.
  • Developing procurement options and strategies.
  • Opting-in for vaccine tenders.
