Immunization supply chain practitioners forum

Governments are committed to continually assessing and improving their immunization supply chain (iSC). To support the extensive and rapidly growing community of iSC practitioners, UNICEF convened its first iSC Practitioners Forum in May 2016, attracting 14 countries across 3 regions, donor agencies and technical partners.

The Forum opened an opportunity for participants to establish a lively network of fellow country practitioners, research leaders, technical specialists, and partners. Knowledge and experience sharing covered a range of topics, including: human resources, supply chain system design, forecasting and procurement, cold chain technologies, temperature monitoring, stock management, improvement plan implementation, and supply chain performance monitoring.

Participants will gain knowledge and access to an expanding network of fellow country practitioners, who can continue to share their experiences and apply the learnings from the iSC Practitioners Forum into their own country programmes.  Please check back for more information after the Forum wraps up on 3 June 2016.
