For vaccines to remain potent, they must be kept cool. In South Sudan, UNICEF has, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, procured and installed most of the cold chain equipment in the country and is doing regular maintenance.

In South Sudan, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, UNICEF has procured and installed most of the cold chain equipment in the country and is doing regular maintenance. UNICEF immunization programmes and in particular the cold chain aspects are generously supported by GAVI.
Together, we aim to reach every child with vaccines.
