Though the youth in Gorlangbang Jebel Marra have not been able to enjoy a childhood like many others due to continuous  conflict and displacement, they still hold high hopes for a brighter and peaceful future they hope to build. Gorlangbang, South Jebel Marra. An area that has been inaccessible for over ten years due to conflict. There is practically no health care in the area and many have to walk for days to reach a hospital. UNICEF and partners are on the ground providing support and opening clinics to help treat those who are sick, especially women and children. Listen to their stories below.

Child Marriage is an issue here in Gorlangbang, I myself am a victim of child marriage, and I want the future to better for girls here. Every girl deserves to feel safe and have academic opportunities.
