Highlights

The Sudan Primary Education Emergency Support Project aims to address the education crisis in Sudan and support reopened schools in target states and learning continuity in the Republic of Sudan.

This Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) outlines the program for stakeholder engagement throughout the Project cycle. It defines policy requirements regarding stakeholder engagements, lists preliminary stakeholder engagements that have already been undertaken, provides a stakeholder analysis of all relevant project-affected parties, including members of vulnerable groups, and lays out the means of dissemination of information to different parties as well as means and ways to continue to consult different stakeholder groups throughout the Project cycle.

It also includes a Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM), by which people affected through project-related activities can bring their grievances and concerns to project management attention, and which describes how those grievances and concerns will be considered and addressed. Furthermore, it contains a supervision and monitoring plan for the implementation of the SEP.
