This report provides a comprehensive overview of UNICEF Sudan’s gender-related activities and results in 2021.
UNICEF’s gender programme focuses on the following key areas: empowerment and wellbeing for adolescent girls, nutrition and healthcare for girls and women, girls’ secondary education and skills, prevention of (gender-based) violence, abuse and exploitation.
In 2021, UNICEF reached more girls with social services and protection, including prevention and response to gender-based violence.
