Six children killed in inter-communal fighting in South Darfur

KHARTOUM, 4 April 2022- “At least six children, four boys and two girls were killed during inter-communal fighting in Dika village, Gereida locality in South Darfur state.

“UNICEF extends condolences to their families.

“At least five children are missing, and four children have been injured.

“UNICEF reiterates children must be protected at all times from all forms of violence and harm, and they should never be a target during conflict.”
