TED talk: How we can help young people build a better future
UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta H. Fore maps out a new path forward: Generation Unlimited
The world is experiencing a global change in demographics, coupled with compounding global crises in education, employment, violence and gender-based discrimination.
UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta H. Fore describes in a TED talk how the challenge of this moment is matched by a new path forward – an opportunity to create a skilled cohort of young people better prepared to shape more sustainable economies and peaceful and prosperous societies: Generation Unlimited.
The talk was part of We the Future, presented by TED in collaboration with the Skoll Foundation and the UN Foundation. The day-long event took place during the week of the UN General Assembly and Global Goals Week and explored how we can learn from, strengthen, and scale the approaches that create a world of sustainable peace and prosperity.
