In the ‘Perspective’ essays, children, parents, caregivers and advocates share their personal perspectives on critical issues confronting children with disabilities as they grow, learn, pursue their dreams, and embark on careers.

The ‘Focus’ essays examine specific policy, technical and operational issues pertaining to children with disabilities. This year, the series includes essays on violence against children with disabilities, their inclusion in humanitarian response, efforts to improve the data and analysis that guide planning and resource allocation, and such means of promoting inclusion as training teachers in inclusive education.
