UNICEF South Sudan Cluster Leads Annual Report 2018
For education, nutrition, child protection and WASH clusters
The Cluster Lead 2018 Annual Report for South Sudan brings together the highlights and achievements from the four Clusters and Area of Responsibility on which UNICEF leads.
Education, nutrition, child protection and WASH services are providing vital support to the women and children of the country. This support would not be possible without the generous funding received from donor countries. But following years of conflict, high levels of malnutrition, large scale child protection issues, poor sanitation conditions and some of the highest out school figures in the world, continue to affect large proportions of the population.
The work of UNICEF, its partner UN agencies and the humanitarian community continues and they are pleased to present this report on all that was achieved in 2018.
