A deepening crisis for children

Highlights

South Sudan is going through the worst humanitarian crisis in years, most of the country’s children are affected. Continued conflict and severe climate shocks, particularly floods are pushing children and their families to the brink, exposing them to life-threatening disease, malnutrition and protection risks. Urgent action is needed to avert the crisis becoming a humanitarian catastrophe. This document analyzes the cost of non-action on children due to a lack of funding.
