The Lancet Series on Advancing Early Childhood Development: From Science to Scale was launched in Washington, DC on the 5th of October 2016. The South Africa launch is scheduled as a side event of the 2016 Science Forum South Africa in Pretoria. 

The South African Launch is supported by the ELMA Foundation, UNICEF and the DST-NRF Centre of Excellence in Human Development at the University of the Witwatersrand.
