Consultation with Children in East Africa for the World Humanitarian Summit - Messages from Children Affected by Emergencies
2015 - In the lead up to the first ever World Humanitarian Summit held in Istanbul from May 2016 , UNICEF and Save the Children spoke to around 500 children, mostly between 7 and 14 in selected regions of Somalia, Somaliland, South Sudan and Uganda.

Eradication of female genital mutilation
2004 - An advocacy paper. Female Genital Mutilation involves partial or total removal of female genitalia or other injury to female genital organs. In Somalia, FGM is primarily performed on girls aged 4-11.
