Survey on child disciplining at home in Serbia

UNICEF, together with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, presented the findings of the Survey on Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices related to child disciplining at home in Serbia.

The attitudes towards violent disciplinary practices were assessed on a nationally representative sample of parents of 0-18-year-old children in Serbia and a sample of professionals who provide parenting support.

The Survey was conducted for UNICEF by the Institute of Psychology and the Institute for Mental Health.

MICS 6 Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey for 2019

The MICS surveys in Serbia were carried out on two separate samples — the Serbia MICS on a nationally representative sample, and the Serbia Roma Settlements MICS on a sample of Roma households living in Roma settlements.

The research was conducted by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia in 2019, with the technical and financial support of UNICEF, the European Union, UNFPA and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

MICS in Serbia is a nationally representative survey collecting data on the situation of households, women and children.
