Status of corporate social responsibility focusing on children
Children are a very heterogeneous population and form about one fifth of the society in Serbia.
Companies have daily interactions with children, although they are often indirect and casual.
Children are exposed to media campaigns conducted by companies, they are members of families of persons employed in companies, they use products and services, and they are future workers and employees.
For the above reasons, the business sector has a great power to contribute to children’s wellbeing and the exercise of their rights, i.e. to violate the rights of the child.
