UNICEF South Asia’s 2023 annual gender results report highlights considerable steps made during the year to advance gender equality and women's and girls’ empowerment in South Asia. The report summarises targeted and integrated gender programming, institutional accountability mechanisms to ensure gender results, and case studies to illustrate success stories across the eight countries in the region: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
