Calling for arts for a mixed art exhibition organized by UNICEF in Romania

- Available in:
- English
- Română
UNICEF in Romania invites all children living in Romania, no matter where they are coming from, to send their artworks for a mixed art exhibition that will take place in Bucharest.
Exhibition Concept: #e-MOTIONS
#e-MOTIONS is a concept to express your thoughts, feelings, fears, wishes, through art.
#e-MOTIONS is a way to express via the eyes of refugee children and peers, their journey, from their time in Ukraine, their transit and their new life, to alert the world about the condition of refugee and the fact that the war is not over.
But all children and adolescents are in a constant move, they are growing up, discovering new things day by day, and they are being influenced by all that’s happening around them. They can use art to express how they feel about this endless marathon, to tell what’s on their mind, so the exhibit is also opened to Romanian children to assess which hopes, needs and fears are common or diverging.
Art is a powerful tool for self-care and mental health for children and youth – and a critical part of Children’s Right to Play. UNICEF promotes the mental health of every child in Romania and encourages them from all backgrounds, age, gender to participate.
