Water to fight Ebola

Liberia, 2014: At an Ebola treatment unit in Monrovia, a health worker leaves the safe zone, on his way to treat patients in the high-risk zone. UNICEF is supplying water to meet drinking, washing, bathing and disinfecting needs at the 100-bed facility. In Liberia’s continued war against Ebola, water is an essential weapon. To care fully for each Ebola patient, at least 150 litres of water is required – that’s 10 times the amount a Liberian normally uses.
