Highlights

A recent study shows that: two thirds of professionals in the country, who have confirmed witnessing violence against children, did not report it. This is why UNICEF commissioned this study: to identify and assess the national performance in prevention, identification and referral when violence against children is reported and to provide recommendations for strengthening the child protection system. This report also aims to contribute to understanding of the scope of the problem and the steps needed to prevent and adequately respond to violence against children.
