Funding support from USAID helped UNICEF provide effective support to the Risk Communication and Community Engagement National Commission in (i) the production and dissemination of a second set of public-awareness and mass-communication materials (TV spots, Flyers, Posters and other printed materials); (ii) the management and monitoring of rumors circulating on various social media platforms; and (iii) the mobilization of digital influencers to help spread messages (through a campaign called #WaHagoyDaCovid19) and  tackle rumors and misinformation. This initiative has reached 2,000,000+ people and engaged 120,000+ across various digital platforms.
