When our village was hit by the wind storm, I was at home with my parents and two brothers. The roof of our house fell on my mom’s head and also injured my father. Our house has completely collapsed and now we are taking refuge under a tarpaulin sheet. I also got hit on my chest by the rubble.

When we felt the storm, we hid inside the house. But we realized that our house would collapse and ran outside. Unfortunately, the roof came down injuring both me and my mother. Her leg is still swollen.

It was a normal evening, I was looking after my youngest child, Hari and the others were busy playing. Suddenly the storm struck from nowhere and the roof fell over me and I fainted. My eldest daughter started crying and yelling thinking I died. The older children managed to escape, but me and my 3-year-old son were buried inside the rubble for half an hour.  Luckily, our neighbors rescued us.
