नेपालमा युनिसेफ: पाँच दशकको साझेदारी, नयाँ दिल्लीस्थित कार्यालयमार्फत सन् १९६४ देखि नेपालमा काम गर्न शुरू गरेको युनिसेफले सन् १९६८ मा काठमाडौंमा सम्पर्क कार्यालय र सन् १९७२ मा पूर्ण आकारको कार्यालय स्थापना गरेको थियो।, विगतका वर्षहरुमा, विगतका पाँच दशकको साझेदारीमा देशले लिएका कैयौं विकासका कदमहरुमा युनिसेफले सहयोग गरेको छ। देशका बालबालिका, किशोरकिशोरी र महिलाका परिवर्तन हुँदै गएका आवश्यकताहरू अनुसार नेपालमा युनिसेफका कार्यक्रमहरुमा निरन्तर परिवर्तन भएका छन्। , सन् १९६० र ७० को दशक: , सवारी साधनहरु र निर्माण कार्यमा सहयोग; पुस्तकहरूको प्रकाशन र वितरण; खोप, आयोडिन, भिटामिन ए र आइरन चक्कीहरूको वितरणमा सहयोग, तथा स्तनपान र पुनर्जलीय उपचारको प्रवर्धनजस्ता भौतिक सहयोगका कार्यक्रमहरूमा केन्द्रित।, सन् १९८० को दशक:, प्रारम्भिक बाल हेरचाह र विकास, बालिकाहरूलाई शिक्षामा समान पहुँच, बाल सुरक्षा, बाल र मातृ स्वास्थ्य, सामुदायिक खानेपानी र सरसफाईका साथै दुर्गम क्षेत्रका बालबालिकालाई विद्यालयबाहिरको शिक्षाजस्ता कार्यक्रमहरूमा सहयोग।, सन १९९० को दशक:, विशेषगरी महिला केन्द्रित कार्यक्रम र समुदायको सशक्तिकरण, र आनीबानी (व्यवहार) परिवर्तनको प्रवर्धनका लागि मीना कार्यक्रम।, सन् २००० को दशक: , द्वन्द्वको समयमा सुरक्षा, अनौपचारिक कानुनी समितिहरू, एचआईभी तथा जीवनोपयोगी सीपहरू सम्बन्धी कार्यक्रमहरू।, सन् २०१३ – सन् २०१७:, नीतिगत तथा कानुनी सुधार, बालबालिकासम्बन्धी संयन्त्र र प्रकृयाहरूको सुदृढिकरण, सामाजिक विकृतिहरूसंग सम्बन्धित चलन र व्यवहारहरूको सम्बोधन, किशोर-किशोरीहरूको विकास र सहभागिता, जलवायु परिवर्तन तथा दैविप्रकोप जोखिमहरूको न्युनिकरण। सन् २०१५ पछिका भुकम्पहरू पश्चात आपतकालिन सहयोग र पुनर्स्थापना।, सन् २०१८ – २०२२:, नेपालको युवा जनसंख्याको क्षमता अभिवृद्धि गर्नका केन्द्रीय, संघीय, र स्थानीय गरी सबै तहमा बालबालिकामा लगानी गर्नुपर्ने अत्यन्तै महत्वपूर्ण आवश्यकताको लागि युनिसेफले निरन्तर वकालत गर्नेछ । यसका साथै दिगो विकासका लक्ष्यहरू (SDGs) हासिल गर्नका लागि नेपालले गरेको प्रतिवद्धतालाई युनिसेफले सघाउँनेछ। युनिसेफका सन् २०१८ देखि २०२२ का कार्यक्रमहरु स्वास्थ्य…, युनिसेफ नेपाल, का, बारे, मा केहि तथ्यहरू, :, एक संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघीय नियोग हो जसले आफ्ना पञ्चवर्षीय कार्यक्रमहरूका लागि सरकारसँग सहमति गर्दछ। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय गैरसरकारी संस्था होईन। सरकारी र गैरसरकारी साझेदार संस्थाहरु मार्फत काम गर्दछ तर आफैले भने कार्यक्रमहरूको कार्यान्वयन गर्दैन। मुख्यतया पैरवी, नीतिगत छलफल तथा तालिमहरू मार्फत सरकारका विद्यमान संयन्त्रको सुदृढिकरणमा सहयोग गर्छ।

नेपालमा बालबालिका

1. Assess whether current workplace policies effectively support families., Are existing policies supportive enough for families? Start by identifying the most pressing needs of working parents. Specific focus should be placed on vulnerable groups, such as temporary, informal, migrant, pregnant or nursing workers, workers with disabilities and those who lack access to benefits like paid sick leave., 2. Grant flexible work arrangements., Flexible work arrangements give workers freedom over when and where they fulfil their job responsibilities.
