This Policy Brief aims to clarify the political, administrative, and fiscal dimensions of State and Region (S/R) governments in the provision of essential social services, in the context of on-going decentralization. Myanmar’s subnational governments have the potential to contribute towards improved service delivery.
This work was produced in 2020 in the framework of the joint EU-UNICEF Public Finance for Children (PF4C) initiative.
