BERANE, 10 April 2017 – According to the UNICEF survey conducted in late 2016, one in two Montenegrin citizens believe that physical punishment of children is acceptable and that shouting at children is not violence.

BUDVA, 21 March 2017 – A shabby belt, a locked lock, a woman’s scarf are only some of the items telling true stories on display at the Museum of Family Memories that set on its journey in Budva. The exhibits displayed in the hall of Budva’s Knowledge Academy are a part of the unique collection which includes stories testifying of fond, but also quite painful childhood memories.

KOTOR, 21 March 2017 - Kotor was the second stop for the Museum of Family Memories. On that occasion, within the UNICEF and the Government of Montenegro #EndViolence campaign, supported by the EU and the Telenor Foundation, the municipality hosted a public discussion on relations between children and parents.

PODGORICA, 16 November 2016 - UNICEF launches the application NETfriends to teach children aged 9-11 how to use the Internet safely. The app contains an educational role-play game, which takes children through real life scenarios and makes them learn how to recognize, prevent, stop and report violence.

NIKSIC, 10 November 2016 - After excellent results achieved last year, campaign Preschool for All, with UNICEF support, continued during the spring this year in six municipalities with the lowest preschool enrolment rates in the north of the country.
