The vulnerable children of Moldova are our highest priority and the focus of our interventions to ensure their rights are protected and inequities are reduced in line with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. In the second quarter of 2016, UNICEF continued its efforts in a number of areas to ensure that no child is left behind.

As illustrated in select examples in this Newsletter, between April and June 2016 UNICEF in Moldova continued its collaboration with all partners to achieve sustainable results for children.

UNICEF in Moldova works in different areas: health, child protection, justice for children, youth participation, education, early childhood development, and many others that can improve the life and future of children. The priority for the current programmes supported by UNICEF is to reach every child in Moldova, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized ones.
