The Moldovan Football Federation, in partnership with UNICEF and the Centre of Education, Youth and Sports of the Chisinau Municipal Council, organized a new social and sports activities for refugee children in Ukraine, which aims to contribute to their educational integration.

The event at the Zimbru base in the capital gathered 50 children, 10 of whom are accommodated at the Zimbru base, and the rest - at various centers in the Botanica sector of the capital. The little ones, together with their parents, participated in various sports relays with football elements, which stimulate communication and form a team spirit and help to establish friendships. The aim of this action is to promote a healthy way of life and football as a social tool, and emotional and psychological counseling for those who suffer from the war. Each child received sports equipment and gifts from their partners.

FMF, with the support of partners, plans to carry out similar activities in other refugee centers in the country, which will benefit from the sports inventory needed for further action.
