- On the International Day of Education, UNICEF released an appeal to donors and partners to support the government to ensure quality and inclusive education.
- UNICEF National Committee and Goodwill Ambassador, Italian singer and artist Fabio Rovazzi visited Libya and UNICEF supported programmes.
- The Government of Japan announced a new contribution of $750,000 to UNICEF Libya toward improving access to and use of equitable and climate-resilient Emergency Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) services.
- UNICEF Representative and the Benghazi Field Office undertook a mission to the eastern areas in order to engage with municipalities and civil society partners.
