"Show & Tell" at UNICEF with kick off of new Innovation Centre & Fund

Innovation “Show & Tell” as UNICEF kicks off Global Innovation Centre and Innovation Fund

WHO:          Anthony Lake, UNICEF Executive Director and members of global innovation community, including; 
Dr. Sharad Sapra, Director, Global Innovation Centre (Nairobi), Chris Fabian, co-founder UNICEF
Innovations Unit; Stuart Campo, Deployment Specialist for the Global Innovation Centre, Kidus Asfaw,
Global Project Manager for RapidPro, and Stefan Bock, Head of Global Innovation Lab, Uganda.

WHAT:        See UNICEF’s award winning innovations in action, produced by the 14 innovation labs around the world
from U-Report to Edu-trac. Included  will be the  announcement of the kick off of a Global Innovation
Centre (GIC) and Innovation Fund (IF) to bring to scale creative and cost-reducing approaches to
better the lives of the poorest children.
At the exhibit visitors will see how new technology and processes are changing the way that UNICEF works in
the field, and find out about a pipeline of high-potential future investments, which will provide solutions for
the near future.
