WHY: This generous contribution, announced by DFID Secretary of State Hilary Benn and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Gareth Thomas at the Global Partners Forum on Orphans and Vulnerable Children Living in a World with HIV and AIDS, co-hosted by UNICEF and the World Bank, will help UNICEF meet the enormous needs of children whose lives have been so cruelly disrupted by the global AIDS emergency.

Journalists wishing to attend the press conference must RSVP in order for your names to be included on the guest list for admission to the building.  Photo ID is required.  A press officer will be in the lobby to escort you to the press conference room.   RSVP to:
