IMG_9877	Dans leur salle de classe de l’établissement Boucary Ouologem Fatoumata, Aoua et Safiatou Fongoro apprennent studieusement l’alphabet. « Elles sont très éveillées et leur intégration n’a pas posé de problème » affirme leur enseignante, Fatoumata Keïta. Les trois fillettes ont effectué leur première rentrée scolaire le 25 janvier 2021 en classe de première année grâce à la sensibilisation de la campagne Back to School.

C’est sur le toit de la maison qu’Ali Sy aime réviser ses leçons au calme. Son foyer comprend 21 membres de sa famille, arrivés à Sévaré en mai 2019 après avoir fui les violences de la région de Bankass dans le centre du Mali. La famille a trouvé un abri dans le quartier Walirdé et ses enfants ont rejoint l’école du même nom. « L’an passé aussi, pour la précédente rentrée, j’avais reçu des cahiers, des bics, une ardoise et tout ce qu’il faut » explique Ali.

After several months of closure due to the Covid restrictions, schools in Mali have reopened their doors, to the great relief of students like AĂŻchata.
Twins Assana and Soumaila Coulibaly, 9 years, has been integrated at Nankorola village school, in the circle of Koutiala 2 years late. Thanks to ONG RAC support and the School Management Committee of their village, they are preparing their entry into second grade.
