UN General Assembly - Commemorative High Level Plenary Meeting
The commemorative high level plenary meeting of the General Assembly and Roundtable discussions devoted to the follow-up to the outcome of the Special Session on Children.  The two Roundtables are expected to cover the four outcome areas of the World Fit for Children Plan of Action:

§ Promoting healthy lives

§ Combating HIV and AIDS

§ Providing quality education

§ Protecting against abuse, exploitation and violence.

The cross-cutting themes for both the roundtables would include: ensuring child participation, mobilising resources, children and climate change, child-friendly policies and legislation, and gender equality.
