About

Southern Madagascar is experiencing one of the most severe droughts in recent history, leaving 1.1 million people – half of them children - in need of food, water, emergency nutritional and health assistance, and support to rebuild their livelihoods. This situation affects a population that was already living in extreme poverty (9 out of 10 children live in multidimensional poverty in the south) with the situation having worsened as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
