Lesotho Youth Power Hub Policy Brief 1: November 2024

This policy brief outlines six key messages from young people in Lesotho, highlighting actions to be undertaken primarily by the government to meaningfully empower young people and deepen their engagement in governance, development, and national budgeting processes. These messages are derived from the contributions of over 100 young people who participated at the Youth Power Hub (YPH) launch held on 12 September 2024, at Limkokwing University in Maseru. During the event, the Youth Foresight tool was used to facilitate dialogue among young people for then to discuss their future aspirations. Additionally, insights were gathered from youth who participated in Youth Power Hub sensitization workshops held across all ten districts of Lesotho in October 2024.
