Christian, 12 years old - UNICEF is helping 140,000 children between 0 and 15 years old in hard to reach areas like Arsal and Qaa, by offering them winter clothes like gloves, scarfs, hats, boots, pajamas and jackets, so they can be warm during the harsh winter season.

UNICEF Lebanon’s positive parenting programme
Because being a parent is the most valuable job in the world
Children in informal tent settlement n. 0019 in the Bekaa. The Bekaa Valley in Eastern Lebanon hosts the highest concentration of Syrian refugees in the country.  Across Lebanon, there are nearly 5,000 informal refugee settlements, homes to approximately 20% of the Syrian refugee population.  In July 2017, Lebanon is hosting around 1.5 million Syrian refugees, of which only 1 million is registered with UNHCR .
