UNICEF Kenya Annual Report 2025
A Year of Resilient Action
Highlights
In 2025, the Annual Country Programme demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of ongoing funding cuts. Despite these financial challenges, UNICEF Kenya continued to deliver high-quality results for children. The programme strategically leveraged domestic resources to finance essential social sector initiatives and focused on strengthening systems to secure sustainable investments. This approach ensured that impactful changes were made in the lives of both children and women, providing hope and progress even amidst adversity.
UNICEF's impactful, multisectoral programmes reached over 18 million children, women, and adults in 2025, transforming lives in Kenya through health, education, nutrition, water, sanitation, and protection initiatives. Systems were strengthened, and access to life-saving and life-enhancing support was brought to the most vulnerable populations.
