Disrupting harm
Strengthening capacity, networks, and systems to make the internet safer for children
This is a multi-sectoral 3-year project supported by the End Violence Against Children Partnership. It will strengthen the national infrastructure by enhancing laws, procedures, standards for quality services and the capacity of frontline workers to prevent, identify and respond to online child sexual exploitation and abuse. The project will also benefit children and caregivers who will receive training on online safety and protection.
UNICEF will collaborate with the national infrastructure, including law enforcement, criminal justice and social services. Some of the strategic partners include the National Council for Children Services, the Communications Authority of Kenya, the Department of Children Services, the National Council of Administration of Justice, law enforcement agencies among others.

We expect this project to help achieve this.”
