Vaccine Procurement and Supply for the Expanded Program of Immunization in Kazakhstan

Highlights

The overall purpose of this report is to reveal elements of the vaccine procurement and distribution process in Kazakhstan, spotlight critical bottlenecks that negatively affect vaccine planning, procurement, supply, and distribution in the country. The report is intended to support national stakeholders in improving immunization service provision and avert potential outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD).

The report only covers vaccines for routine immunization for children as per the national vaccination schedule. Other vaccines used in the country are out of the scope of this review.
