Empowering youth to accelerate results for children

Highlights

UNICEF Kazakhstan launched its first pilot volunteering programme in January 2020
in partnership with the Kazakhstan National Volunteering Network (NVN) and with fund- ing from the Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The pilot aimed to promote a culture of volunteering, provide young people with the opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge that they could use to both further the child rights agenda and to fulfil their own potential, and open up spaces for young people to have their voices heard on issues that matter to them.
