Career opportunity: Spotlight Initiative consultancy

The overall objective of the study is to determine the Knowledge, Attitudes, Behaviors and Practices (KABP) of individuals in the targeted communities towards family violence, identifying possible drivers/root causes of related attitudes and behaviours. The information will guide the design of interventions to achieve social and behavioral change in targeted communities and at national level; and provide baseline data that will inform the monitoring and evaluation framework of Pilar 3 and its associated Theory of Change.  Specific objectives are to: Analyse the situation of family violence in Jamaica nationally using existing secondary information sources and key informant interviews. Conduct a KAPB survey in communities selected for Spotlight Initiative interventions. Use data gathered from the situation analysis and KAPB survey to conduct root cause analysis on family violence at community level. Develop a programme monitoring tool that will enable the initiative to measure progress throughout its implementation, facilitating assessment of the results achieved at its completion Refine and support operationalisation of Spotlight Initiative Pillar 3 programme indicators to assess changes in attitude, behaviours and practices in selected communities.
