UNICEF-MOSY launch Adolescent and Youth Empowerment Centre in Kermanshah
Kermanshah, 4 August - Ministry of Sports and Youth and UNICEF Iran have jointly launched an Adolescent and Youth Empowerment Centre in Kermanshah city with the aim of preparing adolescents and youth with a smooth transition from learning to earning. The centre, sponsored by the European Union and the government of the Netherlands, will provide adolescents and youth aged 15 to 24, specially the most marginalized ones, with access to learning facilities and adapted content including a breadth of skills and opportunities to access job and become active citizens. The Adolescent and Youth Empowerment Centre was officially inaugurated in a ceremony held at Kermanshah Governorate Building on 4th August 2021 with participation of Mr. Baazvand, the Governor of Kermanshah, Dr.Tahmasebi, Director General of International Affairs of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Gilles Chevalier, UNICEF OIC Representative and his accompanying delegation as well as a number of senior provincial officials.
