UNICEF Iran ready to launch an award for the best innovation for challenges faced by children

Today UNICEF Iran team visited Pardis Technology Park and met with President of Pardis Park, Mr. Mahdi Safarinia as part of the Pardis Summit.

Ms. Mandeep O’Brien, UNICEF Iran Representative in her speech at the summit introduced some of the Innovative solutions UNICEF is supporting globally for children such as ‘Accessible Digital Textbooks for All’ used to make textbooks accessible and affordable for children with disabilities.

She also expressed UNICEF’s readiness to launch a ‘National Award for the Best Innovation that addresses the challenges faced by children in Iran.

UNICEF Office of Innovation is working globally to integrate startup thinking, technological solutions, and new forms of partnerships to co-create innovative solutions for children.

UNICEF Iran is also moving in this direction and has recently secured a partnership with the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology.
