UNICEF Iran has procured 600 neonatal resuscitation simulators for hospitals in the most disadvantaged areas of Iran at the request of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education.

The equipment comes pursuant to a Training of Trainers which UNICEF and the Ministry of Health jointly conducted last year for neonatal health experts on Help Baby Survive course and its global standards by international Master trainers. Improving Child Survival is one of the main areas of UNICEF work for children in Iran.
