UNICEF’s third shipment of supplies has arrived in the country to help Iran’s health personnel in their relentless efforts of containing the Covid19 outbreak.
Weighing 3.4 metric tons, the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies include two types of high-filtered respiratory surgical masks, N95 masks and surgical gowns. Since 1st March, UNICEF has flown in a total of 8 metric tons of PPE supplies funded by UNICEF's global emergency resources to protect Iran's health personnel in their battle against Covid19.
The Ministry of Health is distributing these supplies based on its list of hospitals under Universities of Medical Sciences. Updates on the distribution will be shared soon.
