UNICEF and the Ministry of Sports and Youth ink a new cooperation agreement
The new cooperation agreement focuses on promoting social and mental well-being and health of young people.
UNICEF and the Ministry of Sports and Youth renewed their partnership on promoting social and mental well-being and health of young people through sports, motor and social skills development as well as prevention of social harms.
The new cooperation agreement also taps into opportunities for young people’s skills for employability, transition from school to work and entrepreneurship.
The new joint cooperation, which is valid until 2022, was approved in a virtual signing ceremony by Ms. Mandeep O’Brien, UNICEF Iran Representative and Dr. Tahmasebi, Director General of International Affairs of the Ministry of Sports and Youth on Tuesday 28 July 2020.
UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child, in everything we do. Together with our partners, we work in 190 countries and territories to translate that commitment into practical action, focusing special effort on reaching the most vulnerable and excluded children, to the benefit of all children, everywhere.
