New UNICEF Iran Representative submitted her credentials to the Foreign Minister

New UNICEF Representative to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ms. Mandeep O'Brien submitted her credentials to His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Honorable Foreign Minister of I.R. Iran, on 4 August 2019.

In this meeting Ms. O'Brien also offered the Foreign Minister a copy of UNICEF Iran's 70th Anniversary Booklet which captures UNICEF and the government's joint achievements for children of Iran in different areas over the past seven decades.

Over the past twenty years, Ms. O'Brien has served in the UN, across three agencies, both in the field and headquarters. To read a short biography of her please click here
