Co-creating inclusive, quality learning innovations
UNICEF and Finnish National Agency for Education (EDUFI) deepen collaboration on innovation in education
A milestone moment in the agenda to disrupt the global learning crisis - UNICEF and EDUFI affirm collaboration to leverage innovation in education in a signed Memorandum of Understanding.
This paves the way for UNICEF’s Office of Innovation (OOI) Learning Innovation Hub - a global hub based in Helsinki - to collaborate with EDUFI’s Finnish Centre of Expertise in Education and Development (FinCEED).
“For millions of children globally, learning opportunities can become truly life-changing when there is equitable access facilitated by innovative approaches and solutions. Further collaboration with FinCEED will help UNICEF to cascade world-class solutions with the potential to make catalytic impact to disrupt the current global learning crisis."
UNICEF and FinCEED aim to collaborate at strategic and technical levels to accelerate creative solutions in learning that promote inclusive, quality education for all children and young people. The collaboration will leverage the technical expertise of Finnish education experts to strengthen skills in learning and development; expand mutual networks; and support the iteration and scale of solutions in five learning pioneer countries.
“The Finnish National Agency for Education is excited to strengthen the collaboration with the UNICEF Office of Innovation through this MoU. We believe that this partnership allows collective leverage to promote expertise in the field of education sector development cooperation in order to accelerate innovative solutions in learning that promote inclusive quality education for all."
